This is indeed International Day of Peace. My poetic offering:
Bridges Not Walls
Bridges not walls
Island to island, continent to continent
Spanning oceans ,seas. rivers, lakes,
Mountains, canyons, plains, borders
Connecting hearts and minds and hands
To partner with meditations and prayers for peace
To seek new thoughts for new solutions
To enable working together for human dignity
We must crisscross the globe with bridges of peace,
Never stopping until men, women, and children all flock together
As doves bearing sweet olive branches.
